QIO had a big sale event going on and i was called as one of the photographers for the venue 🙂 thanks Ko-chan. the event was a today (Saturday and Sunday) at QIO on Pico Blvd, West LA. foods, DJ, art works, and of course clothings and accessories.
ＱＩＯでセールのイベントがありましたぁ。そこにフォトグラファーとしてのお呼びがかかったので行って来た 🙂 有り難うコウちゃん。イベントは土日の二日間でした。場所はウェストＬＡのＰＩＣＯ沿いにあるＱＩＯにて。食べ物とＤＪ，ちょいとした美術展。そしてもちろん洋服にアクセ。

there were less vendors compared to last time i went which was last December i think. i forgot… bad memories lately. the prices bumped up a bit too… 😦 i’ve seen a lot more of the Japanese buyers this year. or maybe a lot more asians in total. should i start exporting them to Japan?
今回はベンダーがかなり減ってましたねぇ。前回行ったのは…１２月だっけね。忘れた…最近物忘れがヒドくて。モノの値段もちょいちょい上がってたしねぇ…:( 今回は日本人のバイヤーさんっぽいのが多かった気がする。アジア人全般に増えたっぽいけどね。日本とかに輸出しようかな？

ROTOS TRACK, from Japan
thanks to Hiro from ROTOS TRACK for a special gift she gave me. beadroll of green rutile, onyx and crystal. nicely crafted by hand and its really comfortable wearing this beadroll. below is what she took for this bracelet.
ROTOS TRACKのヒロちゃんから頂きましたこの数珠。グリーンルチル、オニキス、クリスタルがバランス良く並べられてますね。ROTOS TRACKさんは全商品が手作りだそうです。イイですよこれ。つけてて落ち着きますしね。下の写真はそんな彼女が撮った一枚。
the one this model is wearing is the onyx and silver type which is also hand crafted. its really hard to see in this shot, but on the silver is a detailed engraving on it for a premium accents. by the way, this silver is imported from Thai. Thai is also known as the state of silver. by knowing the back ground of the product, dont you think you can enjoy the bracelet a little more? also, the onyx is one of the famos power-stones which will protect you from the evil soul. also a type of relaxation. onyx has a lot of potency. below is what i took of the bracelet.
モデルの子が付けてるのはオニキスとシルバーのモデル。こちらももちろん手作り。画像ではわかりにくいけど、シルバーには細かい彫り物が施されてます。ちなみにこのシルバー、タイ産の貴重なシルバーらしいです。タイと言えばシルバーの国とまで言われているそうで。そんなシルバーを仕様してのこの一点物。なかなか粋やね。デザインのみならず、その背景までを思い浮かべる事で二度楽しめますね。そしてオニキスと言えばパワーストーンの一つですね。邪気祓い、でしたっけ？バランスを整えて、更には潜在能力の強化とか。色々と効能のある天然石だよねオニキスさんは。下は自分で撮ってみました。

my friend Jay opened up a clothing store now. the shop name is “Define Real”. some bits of the web is still under construction. but you can see the line-up that he has. i personally want the MOSAIC t-shirt from SHMACK. i bit all of my friends will touch the “blue part” that i see lol if it was me, i will of course do it too lol
友達のジェイは洋服屋をオープンしました。店の名前は「Ｄｅｆｉｎｅ Ｒｅａｌ」。ウェブはまだ出来てないページとかもあります。店が抱えてるラインは見れるので、買い物するには充分かな。個人的にはＳＨＭＡＣＫのモザイクＴが欲しい。俺の友達とか皆「青い点」のところをコッチョコチョ触るんだろぅなぁ…笑。絶対やるんだろぅな…俺だったらやるもんｗ

HORIGIN
there has been a lot of t-shirts and silver/gold accessories designed with a motif of Japanese traditional art. carp, dragons, lotus, etc. it is not popular in the US market yet though it has been around for several years.
最近は和柄などを中心に日本の伝統文化的なデザインをモチーフに施した商品が多々ありますね。鯉とか龍に蓮の花。アメリカのマーケット内ではやはりまだまだみたぃですけど…むしろあまりアメリカに流れてきていない（涙）。
within this popularity of Japanese art, HORIGIN is gangsta original (hahha sorry brian i just had to use that phrase lol). their work is hand crafted with preciseness and such persistence as you can see in the image below. with the background of being a faction of “Bushuu Itou” whom is a famous crafter for the guard of the sword during the Edo period in ‘Japan. one of their famous work is the “Tatsutagawa No Zu Tsuba”.
そんな和柄の流行の中、「彫銀」は最高にカッコイイ逸品を作り上げています。下の写真の通り、彫銀では熟練された「業師」が繊細で、そして精密に精巧しています。これも”武州伊藤派”の末裔となる彫銀のみが成せる技ですね。この武州伊藤派は江戸時代中期以降の刀の鍔工として有名で、中でも龍田川図鍔は有名な一枚です。

そう、クロム・ハーツです。
i always wanted a Chrome Hearts wallet since i was in middle school. i met with this brand when i was in 7th or 8th grade. i was flipping through some fashion magazine and this guy caught my attention quicker then a snap second. fell in love afterwards. bought my first pendant of Chrome Hearts by saving my lunch money for years lol. the first Chrome Hearts was nice and heavy. its been like more than 10 years and is still my favorite . hahha
中学校の時からクロム・ハーツが好きで好きでたまらなかったマセガキです。多分中１、中２ぐらいかなクロム・ハーツとの出逢いは。ファッション誌か何かをパラパラ見てたのかな？目に留まった瞬間、恋に落ちましたね。初めてのクロム・ハーツは一生懸命昼飯代を毎日けずってケズって（笑）。初めて買ったクロム・ハーツはもの凄い重量感でした。もう１０年ちょいも経つけど、やっぱ今だに一番のお気に入りはあの百合の紋章のペンダントですね。うんうん。
and now that i work as full time, i finally bought my wallet last year when i was 22 yrs old. i’ve always wanted this wallet since middle school. such an expensive wallet… hahhah this wallet was like $850 something mucho dineros. no middle school kid can buy this wallet for saving his lunch money and losing weight. hahha
そして月日は流れ僕も社会人です。財布買っちゃいましたよ２２歳になった時に。中学生の頃からこの財布が欲しかったんですよぉー。マジで。なんでこんな高いんだろう…＄８５０ぐらぃ払った。中学生時代にこの値段の財布は昼飯代を貯金するだけじゃー買えないよね（笑

上の写真は自分で撮影したものです。コントラストをイジって色の調整を少ししただけですね。これぐらいの方が丁度良い質感が出せるので個人的に。まぁカメラの設定でも出来たんですけど、借り物で今一使い方が…笑。それにしてもめっちゃ財布ラブ。
