STAR BBQ, Gardena

last night, we went to STAR BBQ in Gardena. hahha what a name it is. this is some what new to Gardena. i love the atmosphere of the place though its a bit too crowded. this one old lady was literally holding my shoulders to walk through… wtf. hahha and as usual to the Korean places, they cant really speak english… lol all they say when you leave is “Thank you, Bye” more like “thankyoubye” as long as the food is good, makes it perfect. the hormones they had was great. they even cooked for you and sliced it for you. personally, i dont like them cooking but oh well. we also had the bone-less rib and some egg soup and other appetizer that came with it. will probably take another visit nexy year. mang its almost next year and i’m home blogging? hahha

昨夜はガーデナにあるスター・バーベキューに行って来ました。名前的にゼッテー行かないだろうと思っていたんですけどねｗ。割かし最近出来たお店ですよ確か。お店の雰囲気は中々味があって好きでしたね。ただ、狭い。俺がデカいのもあるんだろうけど、おばあちゃんが通る時に俺の肩に手を置いて支えにしてたよ…なんやねん、マジ（笑。韓国料理屋では当たり前の事なんですけど、英語があまり通じないって言う…ｗ。店を出る時も「サンキュー、バーイ」ってのが「サンキュバイ」ってスッゲー繋がっちゃってるのよ。まぁ、食い物が美味ければ何も問題は無いけどね。ここのホルモン美味かったわマジで。焼いてくれるし切ってくれるし。個人的には自分のペースで焼いて食いたい派なんだけどね。他にもここのカルビが美味かった。チヂミも卵スープとか前菜系も美味しいかった。また近いうちにここは行くかな。来年あたり。ってかもう来年だよ。なのに俺家でブログ書いてるのか？ｗｗ

you know what? i just googled the address and i cant find them lol i remember it was on Western Ave. the cross street was… Gardena Blvd?  sorry i cant remember… its near Three Spice Thai kitchen for sure though. if you are gonna take a visit, you wont miss it. the logo has stars on it.

ってかさぁー。ググっても住所とかが出てこない…ｗ。なんで！？場所はウェスタン沿いなのはわかるんだけど…どこだっけなアレ。スリースパイス・タイ・キッチンのすぐ近くなのは覚えてるんだけど…まぁ、行くならすぐわかるはず。だって看板に星がイッパイあるもん。

中にはイラっとしてブチ殺してやろうかと思った若造数名に

目が離せない程の美爆乳だった美人ショップ店員に
ヒールの音と香水で振り向いたら騙されたマダム。

良く行くビリヤード場でのお笑い芸人に似てる人が多すぎる件や
メルローズとかジムでゲイにナンパされた件

日本から遊び来てくれた先輩に後輩に
実は来てたけど一切連絡くれなかったボケやら
日本で歌手デビューとか芸能界に入った友達
キャバクラのチャンネーちゃん達に
クラブのママやらパパ
ネットでしか会った事無い人達。

ＮＹからちょいちょい連絡をくれるダチ

定期的に電話で話す日本の俺の片割れ。

Ｓなラブちゃん。

その他、変態、大多数。

そして、やっぱいっつも一緒に居る気の合う仲間。
尊敬しあえる、良い関係のヤツ等なんです。

そんな周りに囲まれて、
かなり充実した、内容の濃い一年でした。
泣いて笑ってな２００８年だったけど、
お陰様で乗り越えれました。

皆マジ感謝です。皆マジ最高です。
自分の周りはマジ最高なヤツばっかです。
何回言うねんって感じだけど、皆マジで最高ッス。
ホント、自分は良い環境で学べて、
育ってると思うッス。
周りに育ててもらってる感じです。
周りに影響、感化されて強引Ｍｙ　Ｗａｙな具合。

来年からは、色々と計画が動き出します。
イベント関係。
デザインとかの自営業。

失敗してもイイから、やりたい事やって
上へ、上へと向かって行きます。

Vroom Vroom

yes, i got the vroom vroom now for my Z. we had the ZEES exhaust laying around in the warhouse for a while and we decided to put that thing in my car. first off, i didnt even understand the meaning of “relocating” te evap canister. once done, it was more like “bending” instead of relocating. thanks to Aerodyne Industry for the help 🙂 i thought i had to extend the lines and everything. but it was easy. since i did not have the hanger puller, ended up yanking the hanger out from the bushing with my foot on the LSD case lol just need a heat shield or a heat bandage to cover some portions, which i have not finished… lol how does the ZEES exhaust sound? it has a deeper note in it, but does not spoil the melody of the VQ35HR. the end is pretty huge with a titanium finish on the tip. now gotta work on some more stuffs to tune the note to the FERRARI note. hahahha

最近ウチのＺ子ちゃんにブォンブォンを付けました。モノはＺＥＥＳさんのです。会社に転がってて、「付けっか」と言う話しになり、装着。もう一年近く倉庫に転がってたんで。ＵＳ仕様は日本使用と違って右後ろのタイコが来る所になんかフューエルラインとかが来てるとこがあります。色々と聞き回ってて、皆が皆「移動」させる言うてました。てっきりラインとか延長して別に移すのかと思ったら、アルミ版曲げるだけだったｗ。有難うございますエアロダイン様 🙂 助かりました。後は熱処理をどぅにかするけッスね。まぁ、遮熱版作ってやるか、耐熱テープ巻けば問題なさそうです。タイコもギリで干渉はしてないし。簡単に付いたッスよ。何が大変だったって、ハンガー外しが無かったからデフケースに足置いてブチ抜いてやりましたよ（笑。音はどうかって？音に深みが出ましたね。でもＶＱの良いところは残してあるって具合です。出口が思ったよりもデカかった。ちなみにテールエンドはチタン処理。さて、お次はどうやってフェラーリな音に近づけるかッスえね。フフフ。

めっちゃラブな人達からもらったクリスマスのプレゼント達です 🙂 自慢したかったんで、写真撮ってみたｗ。それに特にブログに書くことも無くね…笑。マジもうすぐ２００８年も終わりで、２００９の幕開けだよ。来年って丑年？俺ってもしかして年男？まぁ、なんでもいいけどさ。干支なんて特に関係ないっしょ。２００９年は２００９年なんだし。待ってろよこの野郎！！

Converse and John Varvatos collabo model, Jack Percel. yea the comfy kicks. my foot gets a bit icey since the fabric is thin. but still, i love ’em pair of Jack Percel 🙂 now i have two pairs. the other one i got 2 years ago is the creamy color one. maybe start colecting them next year.

コンバースとジョン・バルバトスのコラボモデル、ジャック・パーセル。馴染む靴です。生地が薄いから足がちょっと冷えるけど。でもそんなの関係ねぇー。スキはスキやねんジャック・パーセル 🙂 これで二足になったこのモデル。２年ぐらい前にクリーム系のを一足買ったです。集めちゃおうっかな来年から。

Orakel Dynasty Kiss Tee. never heard of these guys before. love the design of these two hot chicks about to kiss. woo hoo 🙂 and i will be in the middle when i wear this!! lol its good that she gave me this since i only have hard shirts right now. like skulls and, skulls and, skulls… lol dragons and some abstract looking ones. gave me a new taste of them for next year.

オラケル・ダイナスティーのキスＴシャツ。ここは初めて聞くとこですねぇ。デザインめっちゃスキだわぁーこの女子二人がチューしそうなとこ。上がっちゃうよね 🙂 そして、これ着たら俺が真ん中になる！！ｗｗ（アホか）。ハードなＴシャツしか持って無い俺にはこれ丁度良いよね。頭蓋骨とか頭蓋骨とか頭蓋骨しか持ってなかったからｗ。他にも龍のトライバル系のとかめっちゃ抽象的な感じのデザインとか。有難うラブちゃん。来年からはまた新しいテイストで行くさ僕。

Cardigan. never had one of these. hahha. this was in the H&M’s bag. nice and warm 🙂 btw, went to H&M in the Beverly Center yesterday for the second black Friday. oh mang it was so packed with Asians lol they were so packed that their bags were running out. wish our company was like that too… lol geesh the automotive industry sucks right now 😦

yea Marc Jacobs key chain. i love them. high quality with eye-openner price. it looks nice and expensive yea? but pretty good price for a gift. i was using the D&G keychain where i got for a birthday gift some years ago. now imma switch to this hotty right here 🙂

マーク・ジャコブスのキーチェーン。これかなりスキ♪かなりのクオリティーで目玉出る感じの値段。高級そうに見えるよねこれ？でもかなりのお手ごろ価格。前まで何年か前の誕生日でもらったＤ＆Ｇのキーチェーン使ってたんだけど、速攻でこれに変えたッス 🙂

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas guys!! 🙂 yea, its already the 26th… hahha but who cares! Merry Christmas!! it was a great day only if it didnt rain 😦 didnt really do anything for Christmas though… i dont understand how Japan celebrates Christmas. i thought they were Buddhist and not Christians!! hahha. on Christmas eve night, we went to this one street where they have a illumination compition stuff. mad  long lines and some random Santa Claus wondering around. jacked some pics from Kana’s blog.

メリークリスマスです！！ :)　まぁ、もう２６日なんだけどね…ｗ。まぁ、いいじゃん！！メリークリスマース！！良い日でしたよ、雨さえ降らなければ 😦 特に何をしたわけでも無いですけどね…ってかマジなんで日本があんなにクリスマスでテンション上がるのかがわからないッス。仏教が主体ちゃうん！！まぁ、いいけど。クリスマス・イブはイルミネーションを見に行ってきました。道の名前忘れちゃったｗ。スンゲー並んでたよ車。それに適当な感じのサンタとか色んな人が闊歩してましたです。カナちゃんとっから写真パクってきたよ。

Chrono Trigger DS

yes Chrono Trigger 🙂 my favorite of all times came out on Nintendo DS. since i do not have a DS, i jacked my mom’s to play this lol hahaha probably get my own DS soon just for this game… hahha i played it so many times with the Super Nintendo which was a lot of years ago. brings up memories!! should have brought it to my office… lol

そう、クロノトリガー 🙂 ゲッツ。超お気に入りのこのゲームがＤＳで復活。でも、ＤＳを持っていません（涙。って事でオカンからソッコでパクって来ましたよクロノトリガーのために（笑。そのウチ自分のＤＳも買おう…ｗ。めちゃくちゃ遊んだなぁーこのゲーム。色々と思い出しますよ。それにしても、オフィス持って来れば良かった…笑

Shrimp Chip, Mailed Out

the other day, i was shooting some random stuffs for work. like, caps, zippo lighters and etc stuffs. while i was eating my shrimp chips, i took a shot of that too. thought i would post it up on my blog later on. because i was using my SLR for the product shots with RAW file, the sizes came up to be pretty darn huge. had to resize them to send it to my customer. and of course resized the shrimp chip shot as well for later on use.  and heres some of the shots i took. not bad. hahha

この間、会社で色々と写真を撮っていました。帽子だったり、ジッポーとか色々と。んで、かっぱえびせんを食べてたんですけど、後でブログにのっけようかなぁーと思い、かっぱえびせんもパシャリしました。一眼レフ使ってＲＡＷで撮影してたのでファイルがデッカいのなんの。って事でもちろんサイズの編集を。じゃないとお客様に送れません。ついでにえびせんも一緒にサイズを編集。下の写真がそんな撮影の数枚。良く撮れてると思う。ふふ。

and saved it into one single folder and zipped it. ready to be sent.

自分へのメモ、デザインにあたる７つの要素。

２、３号前の「アイデア」の特集を読んでいて、「デザインの要素」について書かれている記事がありました。どのデザイナーが記したのかは、忘れてしまいました（笑。申し訳ないです…orz その７つの要素プラス一つの「Ｘ」が以下の通り。

Presentation/動機

Concentration/集中力

Realization/自覚

Presentation/発表（説明、紹介）

Direction/監督（指導、方針）

Management/管理（経営、運営）

Produce生産（演出）

そして重要因子Ｘが我侭。

この七つの要素プラス１でデザインが成型されるわけですね。納得です。順を追っていけば多分我侭と言うのが一番上に来ると思います。現在の経済状況で我侭なんか言っていられないですけどねぇ…でも、やっぱ我侭で何が悪い？って話しですよ。作りたいモノを作る。写真であったり、ポスター、ウェブ、ロゴ、全てのデザインにおいてデザイナー、そしてクライアントの我侭が盛りだくさんでしょ。大体の時は、自分の我侭はクライアントには通らないでしょうけどね。ただその中でどぅやって自分らしさをアピール出来るかと言う我侭。仕事と言う戦いの中でどうしたら自分のレボリューションを起こせるか。革命なんて、平たく言えばただの我侭。レボリューションなんてタダのエゴイズムであって、それに賛同する人間かいるかどうかで世界は動くわけで。生かすも殺すも自由なわけで。我侭に行こうじゃない、デザイナーの皆さん。

Long Beach Antique Market

last Sunday, December 21st, was the “Outdoor Antique & Collectible Market”, located near the long beach airport. i believe the venue’s name is Veterans Stadium. huge numbersof vendors brought their antique furnitures and clothes, toys, etc. it was my first time attending to the event. seems like they have this every 3rd Sunday of the month. next time, i will take my camera and shoot around the venue. unfortunately, didnt buy anything. found some pretty nice zippo ligther, but it was brand new… it was a model of 2008. there was this one art work that i wanted with angels. but when i went back, it was gone 😦 should have bought when i saw it… oh well. i will be going probably on Jan or Feb.

先週の日曜日、１２月の２１日はロングビーチの空港の近くで「アンティーク＆コレクターズマーケット」がありました。場所の名前は確か、ベテランズ・スタジアム。もの凄い数のベンダーさんが出展していました。アンティークな家具から洋服、オモチャなどなど。今回が初参加のしんのすけです。なんか、毎月第３日曜日にこのイベントが行われているみたいですね。来月は、自分のカメラ持って行ってちゃんと写真を撮ろうと思います。この日は結局何も買いませんでした。結構良さげなジッポーとかあったんだけど、新品だったので…２００８年のモデルでした。それと、一枚欲しかった絵画があったですけど、ちょっと目を離した隙に買われてしまった 😦 やっぱ見た瞬間に買わないとダメだねこーゆーとこは…まぁ、仕方ない。多分１月か２月にまた行くし。
